Spring has sprung, let's have a crack:

SR3 BURRADOO - much better 2nd up and not a deep race, could place
SR4 READY TO PROPHET - untapped Gai front runner getting the shades, might hold a lot of 1st uppers off
SR6 CABEZA DE VACA - as above, leads and hangs on for minor money maybe?
SR9 MILSEAIN - NZ Oaks placegetter resuming here in an 89 rater against some ordinary mares. @ $14 why not...

BR1 Frequendly - has had 8 goes at 1200m with no placings - has run some good races though at this distance - she can be tardy at the start, but generally jumps OK - a much easier task than last start and has a good place chance at least - at enhanced odds on SB, $51 & $7.50 looks good

BR4 Patriot - started fave last start and went OK, but back to dry, has a far better chance than the $41 & $9 currently on offer

R1 Jaameh

I had a bit of a spec about THE MONSTAR in the Straddie but it was a big ask and I'm not convinced he handled the heavy track that well. I'm willing to give him another chance in a weaker affair where the fav has yet to win black type.

He was just pipped in this last year (same weight) after leading and half this price, probably won't lead from 15 but has the class to be within striking distance when it counts.

Each way or include in multis.

in the Grafton Ramornie

Siegfied is way over the odds at $61 (boosted to $101) & $16. Worth a nice EW at the odds.

MR2 Hipparchus - $46 & $8 - needs to improve but the dry track and having his best stats at Flemington may deliver the improvement

MR6 O'Lonera - $12 & $3.80 - went ok last start and out to 2600m

MR8 Kaching - $21 & $6 - provide the track is fair to horses coming home down centre of track, he will run home hard

SR9 Nictock - $14 & 4.10 - had a shocker 2nd up - shorter distance, better barrier and Shinn on board may see him get an easier lead

Rocky R8 Legal Procedure - $19 & $5 - the heavy track at Rocky should suit strong finishers out wide, after yesterday's meet and another 7 races today. Has been a little down on form but this prep seems timed for this race - he is a track specialist and the wet track suits.
