Wednesday, 30 April 2025: With the title and the relegation spots now decided, all interest lies in European qualification as the season enters its final month.

It's difficult to bet with confidence in circumstances where many teams have little to play for in the closing rounds. However, I think the goals may flow in a couple of fixtures and there is a London derby that presents a nice overlay bet.
EVERTON v IPSWICHHistory: These sides met for the first time in 22 years in the reverse fixture at Portman Road, won 2-0 by Everton.
Form: Everton has lost consecutive matches for the first time since the reappointment of David Moyes, going down to Man City at home and Chelsea away without scoring on either occasion.
The manager took the out-of-character step to publicly criticise his team after the Chelsea defeat, imploring them to stay focused after sloppy possessional play cost them the goal at Chelsea.
This will be the second last time the Toffees play at Goodison, the old ground finally closing its doors on 18 May after 127 years. The crowd will be pumped and so should the players.
They face a dismal Ipswich outfit who have managed just one win from fifteen this calendar year. With relegation confirmed, they have been easily accounted for by Arsenal and Newcastle by an aggregate of 7-0 in the past fortnight.
Prediction: With Moyes putting a rocket up Neto and Ndaiye scoring three times in his last four games at Goodison, I expect there might be a few goals here to entertain the faithful.
Suggested wager: Everton to win and more than three goals in the match - 2 units at $5.20. ARSENAL v BOURNEMOUTHHistory: There have been seven EPL games at the Emirates between these sides, with Arsenal winning the lot by an aggregate of 20-4. Bournemouth registered just its second win from 17 all-time meetings in all competitions when they won 2-0 on the south coast in October.
Form: Although the title was only claimed by Liverpool through the week, the Champions League has been Arsenal's chief objective for a couple of months at least. A 1-0 loss at home to PSG on Tuesday evening is a massive blow, requiring the Gunners to come from behind and win a two-leg tie in Europe for the first time in their history.
It is reasonable to assume some troops will be rested for this relatively meaningless EPL encounter, and most minds will be elsewhere.
When such mindset exists, it is defence that generally goes by the wayside. Although Bournemouth has been disappointing of late, winning just one of their last nine, they are capable of turning it on against any opposition.
Prediction: I'd be very surprised if there weren't a few goals in this one as well.
Suggested wager: More than three goals in the match - 3 units at $3.00.WEST HAM v TOTTENHAMHistory: West Ham has not lost to Spurs at home in their last four encounters. The past ten EPL games played in east London have either been drawn or decided by one goal.
Form: For both sides, in a word, awful. In the 2025 calander year, they have won seven of thirty between them. Spurs had Champions League dreams when the season commenced and sit in 16th, the Hammers hoped for another European qualification but lie in 17th.
Spurs leak goals like a relegation side, 13 in the past three games to be precise. The Hammers have been a bit tighter since Potter's arrival, but under pressure late in games have been unable to protect a lead.
Tottenham remain a live chance in this season's Europa League. They are favoured to progress past unheralded Norwegian side Bodo Glimt in the semi-final, the first leg clash taking place on Thursday evening.
Prediction: Spurs will have at least one eye on the Europa League, recovering from a midweek fixture and looking forward to a return leg later next week. The Hammers have been in plenty of winning positions of late; this time they can go on with the job.
Suggested wager: West Ham to win - 4 units at $2.25.
